Do Good

As a part of the Memphis community for more than 70 years, Kaufman Shoes understands the importance of giving back to people of the Mid-South.

Kaufman Shoes has hosted shoe drives, teddy bear drives, and food drives so that our customers can DO good by helping our local community, as well as looking good in our footwear and feeling good with comfortable shoes and apparel.

Doing good for our community

In October 2018, Kaufman Shoes and Naot sponsored an afternoon of charity and shopping which resulted in the donation of 100 pairs of Naot shoes to House of Grace - which serves the needs of battered and abused women in the greater DeSoto County area.

After being closed to customers for six weeks due to the global coronavirus pandemic, Kaufman Shoes hosted a shoe drive in August 2020. We collected 230 pairs of shoes for the Memphis Dress for Success organization - which has provided clothing, confidence and career boosts to more than 13,000 women since 1999.

In December 2020, Kaufman Shoes was a drop-off location for our 4th Annual Teddy Bear Drive. With the generous giving by our customers and employees, more than 130 teddy bears were collected. These teddy bears were donated to the Giving Tree, Salvation Army, and children of veterans who are experiencing homelessness or financial difficulties.

Kaufman Shoes kicked off the Spring 2021 season with Ladies Days Out the first week of March. We hosted a food drive benefiting the Mid-South Food Bank during this week-long event. Thanks to our fabulous customers, we donated 152 pounds of non-perishable food to the Food Bank, which translated into 126 meals for hungry children, seniors, and families in our community.
